How to Pick Yourself Up

how to pic yourself upAs entrepreneurs, we tend to spend a lot of time alone and let’s face it — not everything always works out as we had hoped. As a result, we may get down in the dumps and may need a pick-me-up from time to time. So what do you do when your drive is low and you are suffering from a lack of confidence?  Here are three suggestions that have worked well for me.

  1. Go back and read through all of your testimonials.  Read all of the wonderful words that people have written about you.  When you read how great others feel about the work you have done together, you are sure to feel more confident.
  2. Get out and talk to people.  Join a local networking group that will give you an opportunity to get out among your fellow entrepreneurs.  If you do not have a local networking group, call your entrepreneur friends and tell them you need a little love session.  Entrepreneurs love to support each other and are a great source of motivation and encouragement.  Don’t forget to return the love when they are feeling low.
  3. Get a coach. Coaches are great at keeping you going when you are struggling.  They can remind you how well you are doing and also offer suggestions on changes you can make to do even better.

Remember —  we all feel low and suffer from a lack of confidence from time to time.  Try the three suggestions above, and you are sure to regain your confidence and drive.
